Panel XI of think.BDPST 2016 revolved around the topic of future and emerging technologies, featuring Dr Tamás Freund, Director of the Institute of Experimental Medicine of HAS, Zoltán Horváth, dean of the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University, Péter Domokos, research professor at the Wigner Research Centre of Physics of HAS, Dr Vladimir Bužek, leading researcher at the Research Center for Quantum Information, Institute of Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and Marcin Ostasz, ETP4HPC Office Expert, European Technology Platform for High-performance Computing, in addition to Péter László Biró, research professor and corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, who acted as the moderator.
