Moderated by Beata Jaczewska, Executive Director of the International Visegrad Fund, Panel VI of think.BDPSt 2016 revolved around the role of new technologies in urban planning, with special regard to climate adaptation and energy efficiency in urban development. The speakers of the panel included Wolfgang Teubner, Regional Managing Director of the Europe of the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives, Gábor Szarvas, Director of the Community Affairs, Environment, Health and Safety Directorate of the Budapest Airport Zrt, and Árpád Szabó, DLA, architect and urbanist, Associate Professor at the Department of Urban Planning and Design of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
