think.BDPST 2016 - Panel VIII

Panel VIII of think.BDPST 2016 examined genetic engineering from the perspectives of agriculture and medicine. The discussion was moderated by Dr László Fésüs, Head of the Research Center for Molecular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Debrecen. The speakers of the panel included William Ritchie, embryologist and founder of Roslin Embryology Limited, Dr Barnabás Jenes, Director General of the National Agricultural Research and Innovation Centre Hungary, Jitka Götzová, Director of the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, and Dr Nevena Alexandrova-Stefanova, Agricultural Innovation Systems and Knowledge Sharing Officer at the Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia of FAO.
