Panel I of think.BDPST 2016 revolved around possible ways of improving the research and development potential of the Visegrad region. Moderated by Dr József Pálinkás, President of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office Hungary, the discussion featured panellists Lucie Orgoníková, Deputy of the Czech Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, Balázs Rákossy, State Secretary for EU Funds at the Ministry for National Economy of Hungary, Peter Stracar, CEO for General Electrics in Central and Eastern Europe, and Anton Ondrej, advisor to the Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
