Realities and Challenges in the Natural Gas Sector of Uzbekistan

In our next vlog, our colleague, Tamás Kozma, presents the energy policy relations of Central Asia, in particular the realities and current challenges of the natural gas production sector of Uzbekistan. With the introduction of comprehensive reforms in 2017, structural changes in the natural gas sector of the country have also begun. This also brought about the modernisation of the sector, which does not only have institutional and technical dimensions, but significant foreign policy relations.
